The overnight pitch
Andreessen Horowitz (aka a16z) is a $46B venture capital firm that was looking to overhaul their social strategy and had been in a long search for an agency to help them do so. I was brought in the afternoon before the pitch to make some creative mocks of posts, but upon further discussion with the strategy team, learned that the marketing team at a16z was unhappy with the look of their social and were craving a better design system to move forward with. While not part of the actual ask, I did a swift creative audit of their current Instagram account and created a reimagined, elevated version overnight in time for the pitch to clench the win. And with the client stipulation that I lead the account with my creative partner.
